MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS

 

SERVICE  /  MAINTENENACE  AGREEMENT

 Controlled Access Systems offers Service & Maintenance Agreements for gate systems to help the customer maintain their gate and components properly. With the proper maintenance and care the gate systems will provide reliable and consistent operation with less interruptions from component or part failure. All of the gate systems we install are built to last and require minimal routine maintenance to ensure their durability.

What our service & maintenance agreements include:

 

  •  24 x 7 x 365  Priority Response for service calls / technical assistance

 

  • Ÿ  Maintaining proper hydraulic fluid levels in gate operators (top-off hydraulic fluid as needed)

 

  • Ÿ Complete change of hydraulic fluid annually

 

  • Ÿ  Clean and inspect all mounting hardware and replace as necessary

 

  • Ÿ  Clean and grease all hinges, replace grease zerts as necessary

 

  • Ÿ  Testing of all safety devices (photobeams / lasers, vehicle loops & detectors)

 

  • Ÿ  Testing of all gate operators and peripheral equipment including phone unit / intercom, radio

device (gate remotes), cardreader, and Siren Operated Sensor (SOS) or other 911-Entry device

 

  • Ÿ  Cleaning (if required) of electronic controls & circuit boards

 

  • Ÿ  Insect control  (distribution of insect-control granules inside the electrical enclosures and around

the general gate area)

 

  • Ÿ  Minor cleaning and touch-up of paint as needed

 

  • All installation, service, and maintenance is performed by fully-insured, state-licensed electricians

with OSHA and First-Aid certifications.

 

  • System Programming (hold-opens, code / phone # / remote changes, transaction reports, etc.)

 

What our service & maintenance agreements do not include:

 

  • Ÿ  Damages due to lightning strikes or other power surges, or other Acts of God (flooding, etc.)

 

  • Ÿ  Damages due to Impact-by-vehicle

 

  • Ÿ  Damages caused by vandalism or other physical damages such as by Lawn care personnel

(lawnmower, weed eater, edger, etc.)

 

  • Ÿ  Damages to conduits and/or wire as the result of digging or boring (please call our office and

request for lines to be marked if there is to be digging at or around the gate area)

 

  • Ÿ  Refinishing (repainting, etc.) of entire gates

 

  • Ÿ  Code updates as required by local or state Electrical Inspector or Fire Marshall
